Biography

Donya Madani (fa:دنیا مدنی) was born on July 5th, 1990 into an artistic family. Her mom, Roya Teymourian is a well-known actress and a theatre star. His father, Mir Valiollah Madani is one of the oldest movie producers in Iran. Donya’s first job was custom and set design assistant in a theatre show while she was studying fashion design in Jahad Daneshgahi university. She started her acting career by playing a role in a tv show named “Don’t leave me” directed by Mohammad Mehdi Asgaripour.

From 2016, Donia pursued acting professionally by playing a role in an indie movie named “Moft Abad”. A year after she was cast in a movie named “Underwater Cedar” directed by Mohammad Ali Ahangar. In 2018 she was cast in Postchi, a theatre show directed by Alireza Koushk Jalali. She then played a role in “Mashroo” in theatre and then a movie called “A selfie with Democracy”. A year after she had a role in “warm land”, a tv show directed by Saeed Nematollah. Last year she had roles in short movies named “Lottery” and “after Normal Routine”. In 2022 She wrote, directed and produced her own short film called “Noghre”.
