“Homa” by Gelareh Abbasi succeeded in entering the international section of the 8th Melborne Film Festival.
“Homa” is the title of the documentary directed by Gelareh Abbasi produced by Dorsay Shafie, and released by Raft Films Company which entered Melborne Documentary Film Festival in its first international attendance.

“Homa” documentary is about Homa Homavandi’s life story; she is a confident woman working in de-addiction camp tackling numerous restrictions and problems in her life; however, this doesn’t become an obstacle preventing her from social activities and presence.
