Elham Rad (fa:الهام راد) was born in 1987 in Tehran, where she graduated from Soroush College with a degree in film studies. She has been working in the Iranian film industry first as an assistant costume designer and later as an assistant director and a script supervisor. She has worked with directors such as Hamid Nematollah, Parviz Shahbazi, Tahmineh Milani, Ebrahim Hatamikia, Saman Moghadam, Safi Yazdanian and Sirus Alvand. She has always been passionate about filmmaking and she hopes to continue down that path after her short film debut Half Distance.
