Plot
The film follows the lives of five women named “Sanaz,” “Saedeh,” “Tala,” “Ladan,” and “Beheshteh,” who all have their own stories to tell but have one thing in common: they all reside in a women’s shelter in Tehran’s southwestern section. Now, however, everyone has the same goal: to improve their lives, if only a little.

The upcoming 9th Life After Oil International Film Festival in Sardinia, Italy, will feature the documentary “Feminity” in its competitive section. Directed by Mohsen Ostad Ali and produced by Alireza Alavian, the film follows the stories of five homeless women living in a special care center in Tehran.
