Biography

Seyed Javad Hosseini (fa:سید جواد حسینی) Born on August 5th, 1988, he is an accomplished filmmaker and director, known for his significant contributions to television series and short films. A graduate of Applied Science University in 2012, Hosseini specialized in filmmaking with a focus on editing.

Hosseini began his career in the early 2000s, gaining valuable experience as an assistant director in the series “Narges” (2005) and “Coma” (2006). His expertise and dedication quickly led to more prominent roles, such as a programmer for the series “The Capital 3” (2014) and “Warm Breath” (2015). By 2016, he had advanced to the position of programming manager for the series “Amorously.”

His versatility in the industry is further demonstrated by his work on movies. In 2013, he served as an assistant director and programmer for “Captivation,” and in 2015, he took on the role of programmer for the movie “Cyanide.”

In addition to his work in television and feature films, Hosseini has also directed several award-winning short movies. His drama “Hachure” earned him the Diploma of Honor for Best Film at both the 13th Edition of the International Haiku Amateur Little Film (HALF) Festival in India (2023) and the Just a Minute Festival in Boston, US (2024). His skill in directing was further recognized with a nomination for Best Directing and Best Film at the Best Film Awards in London (2021) for his science fiction and mystery short film “A Few Minutes Later.” This film also received a nomination for Best Film at the Cortisonanti Awards in Naples, Italy (2023).
