The London International Documentary Festival (LIDF) has announced that “Femininity,” a documentary directed by Mohsen Ostad Ali and produced by Alireza Alavian, has been selected for screening. The film delves into the life of a homeless woman residing in a special care facility in Tehran, along with four other women who share their unique stories of how they ended up at the shelter.

As the oldest and largest documentary festival in London, the LIDF is BAFTA-approved and critically examines contemporary social, cultural, and political issues. The festival aims to promote cross-cultural interaction and discover new talent from around the world. From March 11 to March 27, 2022, the event will showcase films from various countries in London, England. “Femininity” has previously been screened at the Salerno International Film Festival in Italy and the Kolkata International Film Festival in India.
